What it tastes like

Genetically the same plant as US Cascade, but New Zealand's growing conditions — soil, latitude, irrigation — produce a noticeably different result. NZ Cascade is brighter, more lime-and-grapefruit-zest, with a soft tropical edge US Cascade doesn't have. Increasingly used by US breweries with NZ hop contracts.
