What it tastes like

Mosaic took everything Citra did and pulled it toward darker fruit and dank. Blueberry, mango, pine, peach, papaya — Mosaic is famous for being a complete aroma hop on its own. Many of the most acclaimed hazy IPAs of the past decade lean heavily on Mosaic.

Tasting Tip
Mosaic-forward beers feel layered — you'll get tropical at first, then a darker berry note, then some pine resin on the finish. That progression is what people mean by 'mosaic of flavors.'

History

Daughter of Simcoe, released by the Hop Breeding Company in 2012. Mosaic was an immediate commercial hit — its complete aroma profile let brewers ride a single hop where they previously needed three or four. Now grown across thousands of acres in the Yakima Valley.

Freshness Note
Less prone to fade than Citra but still lighter and brighter when consumed within 60 days of packaging.
